Sleep number for us. We have one at home and like it a lot. My wife would wake up practically paralyzed on the cheap mattress in the motorhome so we bought a sleep number for it. That and a foam topper it's like heaven now.
Pricey, but worth it for a happy wife.

check out Foam Factory, Inc. - current and previous rigs we just bought sheet of lux foam 5" thick from them - cuts easily with electric carving knife (their suggest - not an original idea...). Added 1 1/2 inch memory foam topper to "build" our own mattress. Works fantastic.

Most any foam shop (reupholstery) will have a selection to test and custom cut.

Again, careful because not all "foams" are created equal. Some can be very warm to sleep on, especially if the misses is going through menopause, lol. Our house hold mattress cost $1300. It has a built on 6" foam pillow top. Comfortable as heck in the show room and when we initially got it. But a couple of years later pronounced center sag and warm to sleep on in the summer months and even some winter nights under the down comforter. Spend all my money on the RV, LOL, to have any left to replace it!

I don't think that would happen with the 100% natural latex!

At last years Hershey RV show my wife won a Denver King size Supreme Euro mattress and it is great. We don't own an RV yet so we actually replaced a queen bed in our guest bedroom. My wife says it is one of the best mattresses she has ever slept on. I have read where some people complain about the low end Denver mattresses but this top of the line one is great and worth every penny.

Notlad must've been a bad boy if the misses is sleeping in the guest room on the comfy Denver mattress, probably cause she has the whole thing to herself....LOL

I recommend to search variants here https://sleepissimple.com/. There are a lot of top picks of different types of mattresses based on customers reviews. Recently I bought new mattress for home and this website really helped me. There are so many variants at the market now so it is hard to make good choice.

Why are mattresses such a mystery? We've used 2" toppers, 4" toppers, and now $800 foam mattress, too hard for me but wife likes it. Have Sleep Number in MH, I think its great, wife hates it!

One thing, you pays your money and you takes your chances!

Just placed an order for a king size 100% latex mattress topper for the house. I ordered the 2" soft this time instead of the medium. They recommend the soft for side-sleepers that are having problems with with their hips aching. I will have the option of swapping it for a medium if it turns out to be too soft!

We've had really good luck with The Original Mattress Factory.

We went Purple...

... to mirror the one in our house.

Purple has some pretty cool technology associated, which drew us in. It NOT an all foam and the amount of pressure it puts on a body is negligible.

One of their ads shows 4 eggs taped to the BOTTOM of a thick glass panel and then dropped on the mattress - none of the eggs broke.

I wake in the mornings now with NO pain from sleeping; I still have joint pain, but tossing & turning have been greatly reduced.

I always tell people to get a mattress like they have at home, if it's comfortable. One thing you need to remember when buying an RV mattress. Most mattresses are made to sit atop a box spring, which makes them feel softer since the box spring is not solid. So, when you buy a mattress, buy something softer than you normally would as it will be sitting on top of plywood.
