"RV" movie ... what to add?

I am soooooooo glad I did not see this movie when it came out! Now that I have spent the last year learning and researching in preparation to purchase my own RV, I was able to really appreciate this hilarious movie.

Still chuckling, I was thinking about the only thing that did NOT go wrong in it was ripping things off the roof, or a Dometic refrig fire!

I'm sure you veteran RVers know even more ... Tell us what calamity YOU think should have been included. Maybe there's an "RV2" in the future!

How about unhitching the toad, forgetting that it is still in neutral and watching it roll downhill on its on journey of adventure.

What should be is an "iRV2" movie, where everything goes right and it shows how we rvers help each other and we go to the some of the fantastic places we have been to.

Setting off the smoke detector each time they try to cook on the stove top because the vent fan does not work.

I don't know what I could add, but I thought dumping the black water tank with everyone helping and watching was hilarious!

If you make a movie about the things I have messed up, it would be ten hours long!!

I guess you could pick the top 100.

Most of the things that go wrong, you laugh about later, not when they happen. First thing you do is look to see if anyone was watching

Good thought, but that would be a National Geographic travelog and no one would watch!

LOL! So true. Loved the part where everyone had chairs set out with snacks and drinks watching the "show"!

And I had to laugh at myself, because after the coach rolled backwards over that line of grocery carts, and he pulls them out one at a time, and they all turn to get in ... before I could stop myself, I said "... oh, no, there's one still under there!", then laughed when they dragged it down the road.

How about closing the gray tank valve so it will fill to flush the sewer line after dumping the blank tank, then forgetting you closed the gray tank valve until you have a bath tub rather than a shower.

Could have been worse. 2 neighbors have gotten talking with others while filling the black tank with fresh water to flush it, you can probably guess the results of this. EWWWW!

Hilarious movie. Just got a copy of that and "The Long, Long Trailer" for the RV DVD library.

That movie rocks! We watch it every year on our annual trip.

How about damaging the ac unit on a low bridge while following a sign that said "RV/Bus Parking Ahead"! (Might now a guy this happened to )

How about all the people that watch/stare at you as you pull into your site. I can't figure that one out. You'd swear your about to back your rig right over the edge of the Grand Canyon or something.

How about putting the landing gear down on a 5er and pulling the pin on the hitch...on a down slope...then pitting your shants as the RV rolls backwards five feet and stops! Saw that one happen. Before the guy did the look around to see if anyone saw it, he turned white as a ghost!
