RV overturns on Ohio 2 - Sandusky Register

The following link will take you to the article and pics. A fairly new Bay Star Sport towing a Chevy HHR went off the road to avoid a collision and overturned. Thankfully no serious injuries! According to witnesses the vehicle that caused the accident kept going. Hope they can find them!

After reading the article, I wonder what the RV did that caused the car that pulled out in front of him to hit the brakes?

Air horn could be what caused the car to apply it's brakes or maybe he was just a jerk

I've had idiots cut me off and then hit the brakes for no reason. That's why a dash cam is so valuable. Police will know what happened and who was involved.

Why assume the RVer did something? There are many smart-alec drivers out there trying to show off. Note that he didn't stop so you know what kind of person it was.

a gasser can have air horns, all they need is an onboard air compressor. there are a lot of air horns available in the aftermarket world most come with small compressors.

We live in deer country. They get hit all the time.

Last fall a young mother swerved to miss a deer and ran off the road into the woods. Killed herself and one of the two kids in the car.

When I taught my kids do drive I told them the most important thing
"Maintain control of your vehicle at all times"

Why would a person swerve so hard as to loose control of the motorhome for a car hitting their brakes in their lane?

Sure you hit the brakes but its far less dangerous to hit a car straight in your lane with huge motorhome pulling a car then to swerve and loose control!
Drive through the car maintain control come to a stop.

I'm not a wrecker truck driver or a crane operator but it sure looks to me like they're getting set up to roll the RV onto it's roof.

The toad is gone in that pic. Maybe they needed to slide the MH to get the car loose
