Hilarious! I agree. Even with things spelled out for people and they still miss the boat! [emoji15]

I wish they all had this rule.

One Indiana SP has gravel and fences for each camp site. Signs everywhere stating that campers are not to leave the fence area.

I don't camp there -- what would be the point?

Most of them don't 'miss the boat'--they consciously violate the rules as they obviously were meant for everyone else.

Not sure if I'd be happy to be offered armed escort to our site.

I have stayed places where I had armed escort to my motel room. That's a whole other story.

Take care,
Stu

"No dumpster diving."

Is that a bad sign when they have to have a rule against dumpster diving?

I thought it might be good for a laugh to hear of some of the other unusual RV park rules you have encountered.

Please try to keep this light - it is not intended to be a complaint post.

We would never go back there.
When we entered a state park recently we were warned they were having problems with the locals "Dumpster Diving" looking for aluminum and personal data. The park employee said not to throw out anything that has your name, phone numbers or other personal information as some people can actually sell that information online!

Ya got to remember "ya can't fix stupid" I had a fool next to me giving his dog a haircut on the picnic table. I guess that's what he does on his kitchen table.

Common sense isn't common after all.
I couldn't imagine running/owning an RV park. Generally where people only stay a short while, they seem more likely to leave a mess.

One of our RV neighbors had his toilet out working on it on the picnic table. Main reason why we generally do not use picnic tables.

And that is why, back when we owned residential rental property, our lease that began as 3 pages ended up being 17 pages ...

Well, considering that birds perch on them, and squirrels, etc., run all over them all the time, I don't see how trimming the dog would be such a problem. I'm not using a campground table without cleaning it and/or using a cover of some sort. No telling how badly it was abused by previous visitors.
