I ride motorcycles over 25K miles a year...many times we deal with drivers in cars and other vehicles who either do not see us or are doing something else when driving....

Many of us in the Motorcycle lifestyle have issues with people being rude..so when we came out that day from a weekend of Motorcycle racing we just had an issue with this person..

Given he made a serious threat to me when we went out I thought it was funny for him to book when others showed up..

Last year we parked out in the farthest space in a Turnpike parking lot on the way to the west side of PA...this person in a multi person van pulled so close to my side door we could not get in...I figure they did it as a joke...joke on him...my Endeavor has a front door..But my wife was the one who dealt with the driver of the van when they came back...

Just tired of rude people..and I feel if I give them a taste of their own medicine maybe they will learn...

And as the attached Picture will show..none of us are under the age of 50...so we are not some young punks..

I did not mean my comment to be as rude as it sounded! What I meant to say was after a week in a motorhome with the grandkids I was ready and willing to put a good azzwhoopin on something.

We have parked at a few. Doesn't fit in the space provided, but we improvise.

45' on the bus and a standard F150 Crew-cab. Before the PU we puled an Edge on a 20' aluminum trailer which put us just under 70' adding trailer tongue length.

On our last trip I did as "F-239141" did. I prefer to stay out of restaurants' parking lots for all the above reasons mentioned. Anyway we parked on the shoulder of the road and crossed the street. Jenny Craig said it is good to park and walk. Your parking preferences might be different. deSanford

This thread is KOOL.

I think we have finally found a sequel to the WalMart Parking Thread.

Beware of sharp turns ahead.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Kind of shocked at some of the responses on here with folks going as far to saying they intentionally blocked cars where they could not leave.

Had some of the auto drivers gotten upset, word been exchanged, and it eventually gotten into a physical altercation, many would have wondered why or blamed Cracker Barrel. I would be pretty pissed to be honest if someone intentionally blocked me in.

To me this is just setting yourself up to get your rv keyed are other damage. No condoning it, but I could see it in igniting the fury.

Roles reversed, I would bet the RV drivers would have gotten upset if auto blocked them in.

It's parking for gripes sake, I am towing darn near 60 feet when we travel and if i find There are no spots, there are no spots and I go elsewhere.

Nobody owes anyone free parking spaces even if you are eating in their restaurant.

JMHO

YMMV

Guilty as charged. I have parked in the oversize vehicle spaces, but only when the car spaces were full. I have also seen RVs parked in spots for cars when the Designated spots were available - I think it was because they wanted the shady spots. Just saying there are two sides to every coin.
