RV Parking at Cracker Barrel, what a joke!

We pulled in at a Cracker Barrel this PM to eat. They advertised RV Parking. They had about 10 RV/Bus spots. All were in use with passenger cars. I paid them back, I took about 10 spots to park my RV in the regular car parking! I even had to ask a guy to move so that I could park my RV.
Granted 52' 2" is a BIG RV setup, but.... When spots are labeled RV/Bus, give us RVers a break and share the lot!
Off of my Soap Box.
That is all

I've run into this problem at almost every Cracker Barrel we've ever gone to in the coach. Also when we go in our car I check out the RV parking and it's usually full of cars. We just park elsewhere and walk.
There have been several posts like this one over the years and it's just become a way of life at Cracker Barrel.
Good food though!!!!

Same here. Every time I pull in to the Cracker Barrel the RV section is virtually unusable because of cars and trucks parked there. The RV section is clearly marked with stripes and signs.

Kind of like vehicles parking right at the front door at McDonald's. 2 acres of free parking and some person with a few fries short of a happy meal parks right where they will surely block everybody coming and going.

Why you ask? Some people are just not trainable I guess.

No problem here.
I don't like Cracker Barrel.

It is sort of like seeing the spaces marked "compact car" and
you have a full size SUV parked in it.

People think only of themselves. I really doubt that there are that
many that can not understand what the sign means.
Management sure would not ask anyone to move for fear of loosing
a dollar.

Happens everywhere becides cracker barrel; off the subject just a little; once waiting in line to dump at flying J; motor home in front of me sat there and ate his lunch while 3 motor homes were waiting to dump. I did ask him to move; I just got a blank stare; went in the office;( their answer; nothing they could do) not possible to back up was towing and 3 motor homes behind me; took me an hour and a half to get out of there.

Not only Cracker barrel but my pet peeve is at rest areas.. Big signs with "TRUCKS AND TRAILERS ONLY" but you get the idiots with the little cars parked smack dab in the middle of a lane..... 99.9 percent of the time, the car lot has tons of space and is closer to the restrooms...

Glad to see this post. Don't know why they bother not only do carsparkthere but most of the spots are too short for a rig towing. I too just take 10 or so spaces and go into eat.

I "like" the logic here . . . Let's punish the folks that DIDN'T do anything wrong i.e. the regular customers that DIDN'T park in the RV spaces! Let's take up 7-10 car spaces . . . Yeah, that'll teach them rotten RV parking space interlopers!. And it will have the added benefit of giving RV'ers a bad rep, to boot!!

Kinda like " I can't find the guy that stole my horse, so let's just hang the first couple of innocent people that wonder into town"

This is one of the reasons we don't do Cracker Barrel. The other is the fact that almost every item in their gift shop says "Made in China" on the bottom.

The tone of the subject line sounds like you are complaining about Cracker Barrell.. Alas, I've seen that too (And done what you did) at some places with RV/Bus parking,,,

But it's the idiot customers who are the problem....

Most of the craker barrel places I've been to the RV/Bus places were in the "less desierable" portion of the parking lot (Like ut back next to the dumpster) but still with a half full front lot, 4-wheelers park there.. I have no clue as to why.
