RV parking in Vancouver BC

I hope this is the right place to post, if not feel free to move- I am looking at moving a 30 foot class A from California to Alberta through Vancouver, I want to visit my parents on the island but dont feel like paying 300.00 for the rv to cross and return- is there a lot in Vancouver or near that i can park it for 2-3 days and then bus over to the island ?

I don't know of any in and around Vancouver, but I live out past Chilliwack(1 to 1/2 hrs. east) and there are a few good safe parks out this way,

We stayed for a night at this park right by the border crossing. Seemed like a lot of people who split there time between Florida and B.C. Used it as a base for travelling to the island and the Vancouver area.

We did the same thing and parked the 5ver in Lynden, WA for a week. We had a residential fridge and needed it plugged in for the week. There is a border crossing at Lynden, but we went to the crossing on the I-5.
