RV parks near Prescott AZ

Can anyone give reccommendations on a good RV park near Prescott AZ? We will be going there around Dec. 21 and probably will need reservations. Thanks in advance.

Mike

We stayed at Willow Lake RV park last year - not bad, sites OK for our 36 foot 4-slide Discovery, although tree branches hit the sides as we drove in and set up. Other sites were not as obstructed. Point of Rocks is a nice place, and in our opinion would be a better choice. Perhaps the best would be Fairgrounds RV Park. Easy entrance/exit, well-maintained. Friends have stayed there and loved it. Hope that helps!

Orchard Ranch RV - a 55+ park, is in nearby Dewey.

Unless you have a good reason to go to Prescott in December, be warned that it will be cold there and possibly snow.

We stayed at Fairgrounds in September 2015. Good park though like was mentioned, a but out of the way for downtown. I think about 15 miles if memory serves.

Thanks for all of your responses. We will only be there a couple of days. We are thinking about retiring in Prescott and just want to get the lay of the land if you will. I think it is between Point of Rocks and Fairgrounds RV park. Once again, thank you.

Here is my take on the 2. The fairgrounds is in Precott Valley and is unsheltered as far as wind goes. Point of Rocks is sheltered from most of that. Also if you want the name of a great realtor that will work for you and not themselves pm me and I will give you his name. I bought and sold 2 different houses there.
