Rv Parts

We just bought a new to us, 2004 Coachman Freelander 31ft class "C". In the process of renovating. Laid new carpet, recovered the dinette cushions, install backsplash in kitchen. My question is the jacknife sofa needs to be replaced. We are heading thru Michigan and was wondering if going to Elkhart Indiana to the surplus stores to find a new sofa is worth it. The shipping costs to Ontario is way too much to order one.
Thanks

One of the surplus stores should have what you're after , but covering choices may be limited.
There were only 2 surplus stores there when I was though in 2010.
Good luck in your search.

We bought a couch from one of the surplus stores for the Damon we used to own. Like Kip426 said, you are limited to what they have. We lucked out because we wanted tan/beige leather sleeper sofa and they had three to choose from.

Don't forget Bontragers Surplus just north of the Michigan/Indiana boarder. It is about 3 miles east off Highway 131 on US 12.
I was there mid May. They had LOTS of furniture.

Here is the information from their web site:
White Pigeon, MI 49099
Call Us Today: (866) 483-7017
Easy Directions from 80/90 Indiana Toll Road:
Take Exit #107; Turn left (north) on State Rd. 13 to Michigan State Line (1/2 mile)
Continue on to next stoplight (Junction 131 and U.S. 12) (3 miles)
Turn right; follow U.S. 12 to Bontrager’s Surplus, on south side of road (3 1/2 miles)

We bought a sofa from an RV surplus store in Elkhart. We drove down there to get it, as the shipping cost was nearly the cost of the sofa. They had a "showroom" so that you can look them over. If you're lucky they might also dispose of the old one.
Try www.rvpartsnation.com or www.factoryrvsurplus.com The one we dealt with was one those two, think factory rv surplus but don't remember for sure.

Thanks everyone. We took a trip to Elkhart and found just what we were looking for at RV Surplus. They had a brown leather jacknife sofa that fit perfect. I changed out the sofa in the parking lot and thru the old one in the garbage bin around back. (Probably shouldn't have, but what do ya do) then took a trip up thru northern Michigan and back home.
Thanks again for all your suggestions.
