Rented a 29' class C for Yosemite/Sequoia trip in July. Interested in tips for RV-ing in those parks. Particularly, can you get to the large trees in a class C in Sequoia? Are the shuttle busses in Yosemite easy to use? Any other tips for RV rental travel with two small children -- websites with FAQs, tips, dos/don'ts, top ten lists? Many thanks for any responses. Hello LouMonika,

Welcome to iRV2, we're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures in your rented Class C. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.

We visited the Sequoia and Yosemite in 2001 pulling a 5th wheel trailer. There were a few places where we could go only with the truck, the General Sherman tree was one that comes to mind. I don't recall the shuttle in Yosemite, we first drove right through with the trailer then went out and set up in a campground, coming back the following day with only the truck.

Surely, others will add their experience s here and as you'll see, they're eager to help and share their knowledge and experiences.

Again, welcome to iRV2, we're glad you joined.
