RV sales

Hi all,
Don't know if this has been posted yet,but just heard a report on the news that RV sales will iecrease by over 300,000 this year and most of them will be entry level sales. They also showed a Winnie with a residential frig and granite counter tops so I guess thinks are looking up for RV sales.Good Luck to all.

Are you sure on that number? I'm amazed that total sales would be over 300,000 - let alone saying an increase by that much.

I'd be interested to know if the market is permanently changing. The lower end of the market has always been the largest, but are the shares changing all that much? Are the demographics changing?

I wonder if younger people are turning away from RVing as something that is not affordable?

It also means there will be much more used rv's about for sale and or trade, not sure if this will make used rvs worth less or more? Things that make you say hhhmmmmmmm!

Hi Wincrasher,
That is what they reported.I couldn"t believe that either and they reported that the entry level price above $130,000 which is probably about right. So I guess the CG will really be crowded now.Good Luck

Baby Boomers retiring will fuel all markets catering to the senior market. Private enterprise will cover the increase in business. We're in Yellowstone now and the traffic is heavy.
