Link works for me; it's the piece that ran on CBS Evening News last night concerning the uptick in sales for RV's, focuses on Thor but includes a piece about Entegra.

Pessimist here. As with every other hobby, game, or past time,, the more people that come into the mix, the more problems that will be encountered. It's inevitable because of the differences all us humans have.

I kinda think of RVing and camping as being more of a hobby that stays strong with good responsible similar thinking people. I do realize that we're not all the same and have different ways of seeing things now. But with an influx of people, the differences will become more extreme and therefore cause more conflicts down the road.

OH, and if we think making a campsite reservation is tough now,,.

I can't watch the video, our internet is soooo slow unfortunately.
I think this boom is fueled partially by the "Tiny Homes" hype and the fact a lot of people are more optimistic about their own financial future but give it a year or two and 90% of these rv's will be parked as dead weight in someone's driveway.

I think a lot of baby boomers are retiring and the stock market is at an all time high. Lots of retirement money (401K) available right now. At the other end of the spectrum, there are a lot of economic refugees that have been priced out of conventional housing and have moved into an rv as a cheaper alternative. Of course, these people aren't buying the new units.

Agree. It's a Bubble, like the housing crash, part II. Wait a few years and if you're in a good position, you'll probably be able to pick up a used coach for a song. Or a house.

Couldn't agree more. The industry thinks it's looking at 2007 in the rear view mirror but instead it's just around the corner. And when it comes what's the first things people unload, boats and rv's.
