RV SEQUEL tomorrow!

Finally, after painstaking fluid testing, independent inspection, much shared expertise from esteemed members of this forum, and pretty much all issues fixed, we are taking delivery tomorrow of our first MH! It's a 2003 Monaco Executive 40 PBT.

I have never camped before, and DH has never driven one! He only watched the Lazy Days videos. Pull up your lawn chairs. It's going to be the RV movie sequel. Complete with four dogs! Hopefully the hoses will be hooked up properly!

Congratulations, I see your buying from Lazydays. I suggest that you don't be in a hurry to get off the lot. One of the big advantages Lazydays has over their competition is that you can camp on site for a few days and try everything to make sure you know how to make it work. MH's can be complicated affairs and you may need some practice to make sure you know how the set it up and turn everything on in the right sequence. JMO. No matter what you are going to have a great time

Actually we're not buying from Lazy Days, unfortunately! Steve Ownby from this forum sent us the link to the videos from Youtube. Our dealer is awful and we just can't wait to get it out of there. Too bad they were the ones who had the coach we wanted! Thanks for your well wishes!

CONGRATS:

I don't know how to turn off the "bold". The box goes out but when I push a key it comes back on.

If you want to take a short trip, come to Port Arthur and show us your unit. Stephanie and I would be glad to meet ya'll and maybe try to explain somethings you don't understand.

RVing is the way to go, we're leaving the first of June for 2 1/2 mo. journey to someplace cool like Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Have you signed up for the Boerne Memorial Day rally? Good way to get your feet wet on driving and using the beast. It's easier than you think; just stay focused.
Good luck and safe travels!

The driver will require a "B" endorsement to their Texas drivers license for legal operation of this motorhome. It's over 26,000 lbs......
Google the subject, there's pages and pages here on iRV2.

Great idea! How much farther are you than Beaumont? We would have to do that sometime after you get back. There's not much time before the 1st! We are going to Newport, RI for my daughter's wedding the beginning of July and staying a month. Have a great summer and keep in touch!

We know about that . DH and friend with a huge 5th wheel already drove to Livingston to get info and discuss it with them! Our friend actually needs a Class A!

As to the Boerne, that doesn't work for us. I am a church music director so need to be here Sundays!

Not what I thought

Congrats on your new RV.

But I have to say I am disappointed, I was hoping to see Robin Williams in a sequel to that great funny movie "RV"...

But watch yourself if you happen to get a plugged up poo tank! Better yet call us so we can pull up our chairs for a ringside seat.

We are 17 miles from the Petro TS in Beaumont. Port Arthur is on Lake Sabine. By the time you get back from RI you'll be an old pro but we would still like to get together.

Talk to you later
