RV Shows in the Southwest?

What is the "big time" RV show in the southwest?

I live in the Houston area, and our show is basically dominated by a few large dealers with little manufacturer participation.

Thanks in advance.

And, welcome to the "vacuum of the West" for RV makers showing their wares.

The biggest RV show west of the Mississippi is supposed to be in Pomona CA each the fall. They say that 45 makers are in attendance and 17 dealerships...but, it just feels like the current inventory from the SoCal and AZ dealerships Here's last years info: FAIRPLEX

The biggest show in Texas is supposed to be the Houston RV show at Reliant Center: Houston RV Show at Reliant Center - Houston, Texas
I've never been to the Houston show, but it sounds good on the website.

These ARE NOT like the Hersey, PA show. We all are just too far west of the epi-center of RV mfgt. for that kind of show - IMHO.

Safe travels

Scarab,

Yeah, the Houston show is the one I go to. Three big motorhome dealers and a number of smaller operations - mostly trailer sellers. I will attend in hopes they have some different models there than what are in their current inventories.

Don't fall for the so called RV shows McMahon's RV puts on several times a year in southern CA. They are the only dealer there and bring the stuff they can't sell at their dealership's.

Too late I was there a few years ago...and they do the same thing 3-4 times a year at the QualCom Stadium in San Diego.

Very disappointing. And the sales staff there actually told me that the models that were not at the show were the ones that didn't sell...which was the absolute opposite of reality

The Hershey, PA show is on my bucket list

Safe travels
