RV Shows - Washington DC and Timonium, MD?

Anyone have opinions on quality/size of the RV Show at Dulles Expo Center (DC) or the RV Show at Timonium, MD? I am thinking about attending one or the other, but want to make it worth the trip.

Do you know of other good RV shows in the DC, NOVA, MD areas?

Just curious for your thoughts.

Thanks Much.

I an tell you that the Dulles show is not what it has been for years now. The show used to be two buildings and for the last few years only one and the last time I went there it was not even full.I would head to the Tampa show if I was you.

MD show is ok lots of trailers and a handful of Motorhomes. The Hershey show is good, it's worth the extra drive. Approx 1 1/2 hour north of Baltimore MD. It's normally in September.

I would go to Hershey over these shows too but that one is done so Tampa is next but I agree that Hershey is the show in this area.

I found that very few shows held at the Dulles Expo center amounted to much. The bigger shows all schedule the convention center downtown. Almost all of these are traveling shows that are a business moving around the country on the same dates. JMHO

Of the 2 you mentioned I would go to Timonium, I haven't been to either in a few years but definitely better than Chantilly. For fall shows I too would recommend Hershey.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I appreciate your honest opinions on the Dulles and Timonium shows. I will certainly check out the Hershey show in September. Thanks again.
