RV spray on & peel off mask - Alaska trip or Lovebugs?

I hit the dreaded pop up link on IRV2 about a new product from Armor all. It is this can of spray on plastic stuff that you apply where you want it, then when you don't like it anymore it peels cleanly off. The video shows a guy putting it on a new car then peeling it completely off.

I wonder how well this would work on the front of an RV prior to a trip up the ALCAN Hiway or prior to a Lovebug season trip to Florida.

Exceptional Protection - Armor All Custom Shield Coating

Might be worth a try

Looks like it is some great stuff, but to bad they don't make it in clear, maybe they do. I guess the black will look like a bra.

Sounds very similar to a product called "plastidip" comes in several colors and also just peels off. Manufacturer recommends not leaving on more than 1 year. This is sold at Lowes for about $5 a can.

Both have a color selection of clear. Wonder how well it would work instead of something like diamondshield.

That looks like a good idea.

On our Alaska trip last year we noticed quite a few MHs that had plastic on the fronts of the MHs; some even had along the sides.

Looks like a great product to protect the nose of a toad vehicle. I'm gonna give it a try.

Did a google on it. Found where a guy put the Armorall clear on the front of his Red Lexus. He has some before and after pictures and it turned his shiny car into a matt finish even though it was clear. He took that off.
Looking at Plasti-Dip it looks like there is a glossy clear. They say it is thinner than the matte so you have be careful not to let it run and may take more coats. I haven't tried it or found an example yet. Saw a couple where they did it over the color matte they sprayed first and that looked good.

This is something I use on the front of tow vehicle. Home Depot(any of the same) sell the rolls of carpet protecter for home remodeling that are sticky and sticks to floor, carpet, car, etc.
It is very easy to apply to windshields, hoods, etc. It comes right off if you need to remove it. It only costs about $11.00 for a 100 foot roll.
Just a good quick protecter for all tow vehicles and could be used on a long Alaska trip rv guard.

There is also a product called Trakk Tape. Mainly meant for protecting the front of a car during racing, but I use it when pulling my car. Probably too expensive for the front end of a class A, DeBUSK's idea of the carpet protector sounds interesting, but easy to apply for a car.

That looks like it would do the job, but quite a bit of trouble to apply.

I love Rejex. It's very easy to apply and the bugs, even Lovebugs, wash right off at the end of the day. It gives your rig a beautiful shine too!

I go back to a thing I learned in Scouting over 50 years ago.
KISS (keep it simple stupid) Works for me!

After trying the armorall on the wife's audi wheels and getting good result,
(Audi's are infamous for brake dust!)

We tried the armorall on the front of our 5er and took two of the little cans

but it only lasted a short while.... with mixed results...
