RV-storage in/around Phoenix

Good evening,

what rv storage you can recommend - covered or indoor - around Phoenix? By mid August 15 to mid-January 16.

Thanks.
Walter

That's a pretty huge area with many dozens of locations. Can you narrow down what part of the valley you're looking to store your rig in? At least saying west side, east side, etcetera would help.

I had a hard time finding an available covered spot here in the valley (I live here). There were a couple I checked into and the only one I liked was RV Super Storage in Chandler. It ain't cheap by any means. But they have covered, uncovered and full RV garages. I pay for covered.

I called the place in Apache Junction and they sounded a bit sketchy. I checked with Firebird and I think the lady answering the phones there thinks she is selling Rolls Royces. She was completely stuck up and beyond rude. They claim to have a long waiting list. She said I would be added to the list, but I doubt I would ever do business with them after all her attitude.

Now back to RV Super Storage. The cost is high because they offer more than most. I especially like the RV wash bay with reverse osmosis water so that your rig dries without spots. I use it often. Everything you need is there to get ready for a trip. Water, air up 150 psi, LP and more

Here is a list of their amenities:
Electrical Outlets at Every Space
(not available in open-air lot)
Electronic Gates with Keypad Access
Handicap Accessible
24 Hour Rental/Payment Kiosk
Video Cameras
24 Hour Video Surveillance and Security Patrol Guard
Fully Enclosed and Well Lit
Friendly and Helpful Customer Service Staff
Enclosed 15'x50' Garages with Automatic Doors
Covered Parking - 12'x25' to 12'x70'
Open Air Parking - 12'x20' to 12'x45'
Extra-Wide Aisles
Climate Controlled Self Storage
Dump Station, Wash Rack, Water and Air
Staging Areas
Concierge Service *See Manager for Details
Repairs and Maintenance
Access 7 Days a Week
Online Bill Pay/Monthly Auto Billing
Cash, Check and Credit Cards Accepted
Month-to-Month Rentals
Convenient Location Just Off I-10 and 202 Loop East on Wild Horse Pass - South on S. Nelson Dr.
Propane Available with RV Friendly Access

For us it does not matter which side. We take a rental car to the airport in Phoenix and then fly home.

If you have a good suggestion, please write

Thanks.

Just down the street from El Mirage RV Resort, where we are staying waiting for our new stick and brick house to be finished, is a covered RV lot. I've not personally used them, so this isn't an endorsement.

There are a couple more right in the same neighborhood so if that doesn't work I'll look up the others. It's about 30-35 minutes to the airport

Premier RV Storage
8030 N El Mirage Rd,
El Mirage, AZ 85335

(623) 552-5829

It gets very good reviews on Google

Also there is

RV Harbor
13516 W Foxfire Dr,
Surprise, AZ 85378

They also get good reviews. Like I said there is no shortage of them out here.

There's also Dysart RV storage. I drove passed yesterday and they have on big sign which made me think of you.

Covered RV $90
Others starting at $35

Again, there are lots of them around here if none of these work out.

This one is located close to our house on the west side, in Peoria, no idea what the cost would be.

Mission RV and Mini Storage
9649 W Olive Ave, Peoria, AZ
(623) 872-9000

Thank you. But they donīt have covered spaces... I think it is better in the warm Phoenix area a covered parking space than outdoor...

Walter from Germany, but now in Bryce Canyon
