There is an article on CNN.com today 3-22-06 of a family that were just rescued after being stranded/lost in the Oregon mountains for 17 days that sheltered in their RV. It is an interesting read. I dont think the article will stay on line more than a couple of days, so if you want to read it, go there now. Be careful traveling!

Also an article in The Dallas Morning News this morning --- good they had food to last that long. They were down to tuna and honey (doesn't sound good together, does it?). They also had enough propane to keep warm throughout their stay!

This should make it a little easier to see the news story. There are also 2 videos. Art

Proves you should keep your rv well stocked. You never know what is going to happen.

I heard that Terry. They sound like a full spectrum drag on society. Maybe the kids will turn out to be good citizens. Chances are slim.

Unfortunately, there are those who will now make the assumption, "all Rvers are drug dealers".

Unfortunately, I have already been asked if we run into a lot of "druggies" in the campgrounds. I could honestly tell them that in my 40+ years of camping I have never, knowingly ran into a single "druggie."
