... I’m with Vandleharts; simplicity and less to clog sensors and less water usage...

IF you boondock, drycamp and you NEED to conserve water use, then you do not have to use a lot of water from fresh water tank. We always fill black water tank with 5 gallons of water after we dump, while we are at the dump station.

Why not go all in and just poop in the basket.

You can use any toilet paper you like. The large diameter of sewer piping in an RV won't have any problems passing (sorry) it. As for campgrounds and their septic systems, at $40 a night I don't feel it's my problem. However, I used to think the same of wet wipes but after a few years had built up a nasty clog. Fixing it involved a snake, an oil change pan, a Lowe's 5 gallon pail and several trips to the dump station. Never again - the wipes go into the garbage. Throw that sandpaper away and live a little.

We switched from Thetford TV toilet paper to Angel Soft and the TP chuncks decreased significantly. Now we don't have to buy 2 different TPs.

X2. Pretty easy on the butt. RV TP is a waste, no pun intended, of money.

We like Scott's Rapid Dissolving RV toilet paper. It's two ply, not expensive and it's soft. You can find it in 4-packs in the RV section of the Auto Department at Walmart. The bigger Walmarts have it in 8-packs as well. We have used it for over 2 years now with no problems. It's rather ironic that it costs less than the one-ply RV stuff you usually find at RV dealers.

Members Mark from Sams Club. Same thing at home. Like others have said... RV TP is an expensive (and not ver y sanitary) scam.

TP breaking down
A couple of years ago I read an article by a guy who tested a bunch of TPs to see which broke down the best in water only or a combo of water and toilet chemical. The surprising winner was Costco brand.

T.P. Tips
We do the same on the motor home we do at home with our septic system: we dispose of the used paper in a waste can.
No matter what you do to keep septics and blackwater tanks healthy, cellulose from paper isn't one ingredient. The only organisms that like this wood byproduct are termites. So, to avoid any issues we decided to just toss the paper. There's no risk of paper pulp getting hung up on tank sensors, adding to the volume of the tank before dump, etc. It works for us-

Walmart sells a Scott’s brand rippled toilet paper, works great.

Charmin ultra soft. OR take the TP you use at home, put two squares in a mason jar full of water for an hour. Give it one quick shake. If it breaks up into a million bits it's perfect.
