Just thought I'd share a very cool experience we had on the 4th of July.

We got a call from NPR host Madeleine Brand who does the show Day to Day. She interviewed us about the high costs of fuel and how it is cutting into our travels.

Since Cindy and I are major nerds and listen to NPR non-stop, this was quite the honor to be on the show, if only for a few minutes. They found it funny that we try to avoid campgrounds and choose to camp in Wal-Marts and Boondock to save money.

Here is a LINK TO THE SHOW

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July and had fun camping!

That would be cool!

I do hope, however, that you really didn't use the words "camp" and "Wal-Mart" in the same sentence!
