Sacrificial anode

Have an Atwood 10 gal combo gas/elec water heater, where the heating elements are mounted in the back of the tank. There is a drain plug on the front, w/1/2" pipe plug. I find no indication of an anode, either in the tank or in the paper work. Don't all water electric water heaters need an anode? Do they make one that will fit in place of the 1/2" pipe plug?

Atwood water heaters do not need a sacrificial anode rod, the tank is aluminum. Suburban water heaters use the anode rod.

Atwood water heaters use 15% 7072 aluminum bonded to the interior walls of their tanks. This is done during the rolling process.

Furthermore, Atwood says use of an aftermarket anode rod in their heaters will void any warranty.
