Safari Trek 2002 24 ft
Hello, I a new member and didn't want to start off with a problem question, but I am desperate...
Im stuck in Venice Florida. Shut down the Trek for the night, next morning tried to start the engine, no dash lights and the engine cranks but no start.
Had 3 moble mech out and they can;t find the problem. Called workhorse and they provided very little help.
All fuses are good, no power to part of the fuse box. They jumped the engine fuse to a hot 12 volt line and engine will start with the top portion of the dash panel on. Can't run it very long since other sensors and circuits aren't being powered and might cause another issue.
Can't tow it since it is in a poor location for a tow truck to get in, and tow it where. What if they can't solve this, tow it again?
It has beenover a week now and I'm really getting stressed out.
If anyone can help I would of course be forever grateful. I just bought the coach in Mesa Ariz and it worked fine.
Thanks for listening

oliveman,
If you can jump start the engine, maybe run it just long enough to move to a place for the tow truck to hook up?. Also, check the TREK tracks forum http://www.nwtfc.com/forum/active.asp Lots of information for your Trek.

Are you a coach.net member? (RV roadside assistance / towing service). If not, consider calling to join, then asking their concierge service about your problem. They have a good reputation, have good technical assistance in addition to towing, and can probably recommend a mobile tech in your area. I used their service in California and was very pleased
