I have a tragic story to share. When I was on-the-job at the fire department, one of our Captains who loved to tinker with his car jacked up the car with a bumper jack and as he was under the vehicle yanking on some component, the vehicle fell on him and killed him. He was in his driveway when this happened.

I was always under the assumption that he was a Captain and that he might have been able to afford to have his car fixed but I would not want to deny him or anyone the satisfaction of fixing stuff on your own. Please take note of this and please be safe and don't ever expose your self to being in a pinch point. A pinch point is if you don't fit someplace when the vehicle is on the ground, you don't belong there.

Glad that they were able to save him. We seem to think that we can continue to beat the odds. Sooner or later they catch up with you. I never would have believed a 4' ladder could hurt you!

2 torn up disk later, I now look at things differently!
