Sales Advice

My wife and I are settled in our new home in the Mountains of Tennessee and no longer use our RV like we used to when living in the suberbs. We think that someone else would use our rig more and are thinking of selling. We think that it would be best to sell the whole thing; class C rv, jeep wrangler toad, the tow bar, tow buddy and everything else. Someone entering RVing could purchace the whole turn-key system all in one. Everything works perfectly and no repairs or additional add ons necessary. What would be the best way to advertise it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

RVtrader and RVT are some common places but we sold ours last week in less than 24 hours on CL.
But don't discount the free classifieds here on iRV2;

Main Index - RV & Motorhome Classifieds

Best of luck!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would advertise it in the free classifieds here and on RVTrader.com. I would state in the ads that you will only accept a direct transfer of funds between their bank and yours, NO EXCEPTIONS! That's the only safe way.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

You'll get more interest and make more money selling them individually than as a package. If someone wants everything there's nothing stopping from from doing so. Advertise them in as many places as possible.

Welcome to the forum.

Why not place an add here in the classified section. We did sell our Class C in two days on RVTrader.

Good luck

I sold two TTs on Craig's List in less than a week each. I'd suggest two ads, one for the MH with a link to the toad package ad and one for the toad package with a link to the MH ad. My concern is that a full package ad is going to have a price that may cause MH-only buyers to not even look at your ad.

I prefer to just sale as whole and be done with it. That way you are not still having the tow bar sitting around a year later.

If I was in it for the money I would never buy an RV. LOL

Oops. I assumed you were wanting to sell them as quickly as possible before they depreciated too much.
