There is a difference between titling and registering. You can register the vehicle in one state and keep the title from another. If you just register it without moving the title over, you can save some money. That's what we have done with our coach. Of course check with each state to be sure they allow this for individuals. This is common practice for businesses.

Most states require that private individuals title and tag their vehicles in the state if the vehicle is kept there. Part-time residents pick one of their states, but if AZ is to be your legal residence, you probably have to get title and tag there and pay the AZ taxes & fees.

Sales Tax

No sales Tax in AZ on your unit if it was priorly registered In Oregon. When you bring it here you will pay your transfer an license fee which basically your personal property tax. If you purchase a vehicle from a private party in Az there is no sales tax just your transfer and license fee.
