Samsung refrigerator door lock
I just replaced my old norcold 1200 with a rf18 samsung 18 cf, worked out great, a great fit, low engery model also, some say you need a door lock, I was at a rv show, jayco used a door lock made by lamp, the number is sus304, can't find that lock anywhere. may have to call jayco, but am sure someone here will know where it can be found.

cjwhite, I had the same fridge installed. I have only driven about 650 mi with it so far, but it has never came open. I have been on some fairly rough road with a lot of side to side unevenness. I have to pull rather sharply to open the doors. I suppose the 1st time I sling everything onto the floor, I may look for something. I did see one time where someone fabricated a tee looking piece of plywood that wedged into all 3 handles. I believe it was covered with fabric to add grip and cushion. I wish I could find that link.

I use a Velcro strap around the handles on my double door residential fridge. My DW loads so much "stuff" in the door bins I need some insurance that the doors wont fly open....

We're in the process of buying a CC Magna, it has a Jenn-Aire 22 CF unit. I don't think it has any locks on it, just the magnetic gaskets is all I've seen so far. I don't think it's a low energy model so someday I may want to change it out for a Samsung unit as the DW likes the bottom freezer much better than a side by side. I know some people have them on their Samsungs though. Was it Diplomat Don (now Dutch Star Don) on the forums that made them?

It is some kind of felt stuff, not carpet. Cut the shape from plywood and glue the felt on and there you go.
