I recently purchased a 2003 Forest River Sunseeker Class 'C'. There are two (2) fresh water hose inlets on the side of the coach. One is "City water", and the other is "Fresh water tank fill".. The fresh water tank is inside, under the bed, and ABOVE the level of the outside inlet. The tank is sealed, except for hose and breather tubes. How can I get sanitizer solution into the tank? Rinsing later will be no problem. Can't tell if there is a antifreeze bypass anywhere.

Long hose, hold the end up high, pour a few ounces of chlorine in the hose and then connect to faucet and turn water on. Water and chlorine will be pushed into the tank and mixed as it goes in.

Use a long hose and fill it with chlorine bleach before hooking to the filler port. When you turn the city water on, it pushes the bleach into the tank. Might have to do it a couple times to get the right amount. Then use the RV water pump to circuate it through the water lines.

Trying this again - computer ate the first one. Connect long hose to the fresh water fill. Hold the hose up high and pour a few ounces of chlorine into the hose. Attach to faucet and turn water on. Chlorine and water will flow into the tank and be mixed as this happens.

The easy answer to the bleach is to connect the fill side and run in a bit of water to make sure things work. Then shut off at the faucet, disonnect the hose and let it drain a bit. Pour the desired amount of bleach into the hose and re connect to the faucet then turn the water back on and fill the tank. Once the tank is partly filled turn on the pump and let the faucets all run inside until mix comes out then shut off. Let it sit a few hours and it is done.

FWIW I usually do it as I de winterize before our first outing. Using the mix to clean the camper gives a small boost while using it instead of just dumping it. We also use bottled water while using the first tank. By the second tank of fresh water the bleach residual is flushed. What you get is what you just put in.

FWIW2 if you winterize with edible anti freeze (pink stuff) the bleach mix is good at cleaning out the residual that has a musty taste. That is part of why I use it after winterization.
