Satellite conversion ... Canadian service

We bought a DP with auto satellite installed and running. The problem is that for any trips south, we need to lock into SHAW satellite as we have SHAW account at home.

So, the question is, before heading south, what do I need to be aware of as far as converting the current dish/receiver to accommodate the SHAW system.

Secondly, we are travelling through Alberta in May ... anyone know of a reputable company to make the conversion.

You might run into problems going south. Things with Shaw have changed dramatically in the last couple of years. Below is a contact for a Shaw installer out of Calgary (hope he is still in business) that did the install on my coach. He is very good and will be able to give you the low down on satelite service south of the border.
