Satellite help
Hi All, bought a Winnebago Tour 2011 last year. We now want to get Satellite TV, our rig already has a dish, but no receiver, how do we tell if it compatible to Direct TV or Dish, or both?
Very confused.

Look and see what brand it is and call manufacturer. KVH will work with all providers. Don't know for sure about Winegard or King.

Even if what you have used to work with Dish, it may not now because they changed software in 2016? and a lot of older Dish-compatible antennas became obsolete. Depends on what brand and model antenna you have.
And if it is a dome antenna set up for Directv, it will only get standard definition, not high definition programming. But if it does support Directv high definition, they will be discontinuing high definition service sometime in the not too distant future.
