This is a feature I don't monitor but recently ran across an RV'er used it in an attempt to improve MPG. I'm wondering if anyone else does and if so could you share your engine, LOD range you watch and it any improvement was achieved. I always monitor my mph and rpm, however I wonder if LOD should play a role as well. Thanks for sharing.

LOD is a good indicator, as is TPS (throttle position sensor). you can also use the MPG gauge.

I know when I'm pulling a grade and it gets to 99% LOD, it's time to shift down a gear and it will pull better.

Okay makes sense.....what does your LOD show on flatter run vs your speed reading. I guess next trip out I'll see what the LOD is at 62 mph and so on.

LOD is what? The uninformed would like to get a semblance of a chance to keep up with the conversation.
