Has anyone tried this in any of their vehicles? Does it work as advertised? The reviews I have read have been positive, but I take those with a grain of salt as they could be from Seafoam itself. I trust the reviews on this forum more.

I have used trnstune in my 00 f150 about 2 years ago it had a hesitation in it between 2nd and 3rd occasionally not all the time I just added about 1/2 a bottle to the tranny and didn't drain ony out to make room it has been two years now and works great I do work in an auto parts store and do recommend it to a lot of customers but doso as a service as I donot work on commission use in good health but remember this is not a substute for maint and upkeep of your vehical it is ment to be used as a tool to help keep your veical running great
if your transmission shifts fine, flush it with new transmission fluid only. The transmission fluid has the necessary cleaners and additives designed for your transmission. Adding chemicals to your transmission can be risky. Maybe you will get lucky or maybe you seals will swell excessively and roll around the pistons. If you have a transmission problem, then get it fixed. Nothing worse than a break down when your on your family vacation.
Thanks for the replies. I am not using it to fix any shifting problems, just to clean the inner workings and then change the fluid. The product says it will not damage the seals, so I will try it and let you know. Again, thanks
