I am looking for suggestions how to secure the kitchen faucet while traveling to keep it from flopping around. I already snugged up the set screw in the back of it but don't want to overdo it.

Use a piece of PVC pipe that will fit through the sink cover hole. Measure the length to fit from several inches down from top of divider to the sprayer button. Cut out the pipe on one end to fit over sink divider a few inches inward so the pipe can straddle and stand up on the sink divider. The covers can be put in place to help hold the pipe and the top end of pipe should be able to fit around the sprayer. If not, add a coupler to the top. Good luck and keep us posted.

Buy a bunch of broccoli that has the small, wide rubber band holding the stalks together. Eat the broccoli and use the rubber band where the spout meets the faucet body.

You can also make a rubber band to use as Bruce suggests from an old bicycle inner tube. By using an inner tube, you can make the rubber band wider, but you won't get the benefit of the vitamins from the broccoli.

Thanks everyone.
I like all three ideas, only problem is the inner tube, I don't have one.
I will try tying two broccoli bands together connect one to the sprayer and one to the neck to keep the sprayer in use a piece of pvc pipe to hold the faucet itself in place.

We have the same style faucet. It moves a little and will drip even with RV Wizard's suggestion. Slip a sandwich bag over the end and secure it with that broccoli rubber band. I put a paper towel in the bottom of the bag. The faucet has turned around and dripped on our wood dining table, with the sandwich bag over it no drips!

Thanks, that is the other issue we are having.

Never had a problem with my similar style Moen flopping around. There is a counterweight on the hose down behind the sink - maybe yours is not in a position to keep slight tension on the hose? The hose on mine got moved aside somewhat once and failed to retract the spout after use - took me awhile to figure out how to re-route it so it ran in/out freely and kept weight (tension) on the spout.
