Just put it on craigslist and be prepared to take less then you think for it. There are a lot of memberships for sale and hard to sell.

Try Google: rv park memberships for sale. The big problem is many of these "so-called Exclusive" RV Campground memberships merge with one or another. kind of like selling Time shares. In an up market the public appears to be more willing to buy into these memberships. now when money is tighter people are not quite so quick to bite on the value of time shares and RV Memberships. It is really hard to beat Passport America, annual fee and no other obligation. Here are several sites I found. Good luck... ed

I don't know if it is the same cg, but my boss has been trying to give me her membership in a park near Pinehurst and I still won't take it. I would have to pay quarterly maintenance fees and she said getting a site when you want it is not guarenteed. Since I live in NC, sites in Ohio don't appeal to me. Good luck. I would try on Craigslist in several areas of NC, and the sites EDALLSAILS suggested.

$800 for an agent to handle the sale is totally out of sight. They don't do any more than you can by listing it on ebay, craigslist, etc., and the transfer is handled by the club anyway. By the way, the club usually charges a large transfer fee itself, so call them and find out the cost and procedure for transferring your membership to someone else. Typically YOU have to fill out the transfer form in any case - not much a sales agent can do for you there.

Hi Jim,
Memberships for sale are less than a dime a dozen. bsirby's post is as close to the truth as one can get. Unless you get very lucky and depending on the contract consider:
1. giving the membership away
2. default on the contract (read the contract carefully). You may need an attorney's advice.

Put it on Craigslist in the camping categories. When i listed our TT there were several on there. One similar to yours went for $1500.00.
