Is there a good time of year to sell your Motorhome? I bought mine to "put my foot in the water", and am now ready to move up

Any advice appreciated..........

Summer has been a good time for me. What I have done is gather applications and financing terms from RV Lenders to help the potential buyer.

It's been said that early spring and late fall are the times to sell your coach. I've sold my previous coaches in the middle of summer and in the middle of winter. The right ad meeting the right buyer is what sells your coach. It all depends on who is more motivated, purchaser or seller. Price is also a key factor.
I presently have mine for sale. If it sells great, if it doesn't I'll keep using it till it does.

Good morning Les. Looks like the cat is out of the bag. Looking forward to your next purchase adventure!

Thanks.......

for all the replays. I haven't had time for pics yet, but is a 2004 Tiffin Allegro Bay 37DB, and has been kept VERY WELL, and like my good friend, don't have to sell. Very satisfied with Tiffen.

The 2004 Tiffin 37DB is and excellent unit. I bought one used with 20k miles with the full body paint. Quality of the unit, inside and out, is by far the best of those I have owned. I'd still have it had it been on an F-53 chassis with the Ford V10. There's nothing really wrong with the 8.1/Allison combo other than ours was a gas hog, I just personally did not care for it. I admit, I got stupid and traded down to a smaller Ford based unit and realized on the first couple of trips I had screwed up going smaller. I eventually went back up in size, but stuck with the Ford chassis and engine,

The last trip we made, with only 27k on the unit, we generally got from 5.9 to 6.1 towing our '07 Focus on a dolly. We're conservative drivers and both use the cruise control where possible. I drive in the range of 62 to 65 and DW drives around 60. First trip on new unit returning to Vegas from Houston with the V10 we got just over 7.1.

It mostly depends on where you're at, in the eastern part of the country selling a motorhome in April/May is the best time. In the west the best time to sell is Sept/Oct. Both of those times are the beginning of rving seasons. In the northeast most motorhomes of non full timers are put away in Oct/Nov.
