Currently I do not have the hose support but have been considering purchasing one. Few questions. I have a 20Ft hose so would I need the 20Ft one or would 15Ft work? Do you find that they really work well or is it not all its cracked up to be? My camper is parked most of the time which is why I am really considering one. Going to empty tanks and have to play with the hose everytime isn't exactly fun!

Yes,I think it is a very handy item and well worth the money,they are cheap and work very well. I believe the one I got stretches out to 25ft you can adjust it to whatever length you want.

That is a good one. I have a very similar one I got at Camping World during a stop one day. Any sewer hose support that has the deep grooves for holding the hose and has solid legs on the bottom works much better.

Do you have any better ones I should look at? I am looking on Amazon because I haven't been able to find the 20Ft in the stores near me.

As you have noted already, they are very nice to have. I purchased one from Camping World called a Slunky it was about $35, is flexible, and will go around things. Works very nice!

Have you considered any of the rain gutter type supports? They provide a continuous support and even slope. I have seen them at CW. Also, many make their own. Will require a 7' long storage compartment to hold three sections or an under chassis mount. See mod posts.

Think about this. If you have a continuous run down to the sewer hole, you'll get sewer gas coming up into your RV unless you keep your valve closed. You need some kind of "P" trap to keep this from happening.

I keep my tanks closed until full. But have no support under my hose for when I do empty my tanks. The camper stays parked.

What do you mean if I am using my tanks right I won't need this?

I've been in a couple of RV parks where you cannot allow your drain hose to touch the ground so these supports are necessary in some locations. I think it was in AZ around Phoenix or Tucson but sometimes memory fails me on these types of things.

When we traveled round trip from Arizona to Massachusetts in April we stayed at 10 different RV parks - 2 had strict rules that the discharge hose could not touch the ground. I do not remember the states - but it could be local ordinances too. At one park in NY a rubber gasket was required - had to get one at the CG store.

Disagree. I don't like my hose laying on gravel when it's out. I also don't want to drag my hose out every 2 days to drain the grey tank or black tank. Between the shower, washer, and sinks the grey tank fills up fast. I prefer to leave the hose out and drain as needed.
