I just don't understand adding the complexities and cost of anything other than gravity when you don't have to.
You will understand the first time you need to dump uphill 40-50' away.
I used a SS for many years(10-12) at my winter spot that had a up hill sewer connection.
Never needed to use the jet spray water part of it after getting the siphon part going, until the very end of the tank.
When the heavier stuff started coming out.
Do not bother to answer.. cause this is the only post i will make in this thread.
Why ask a question and not come back? Unless you don't want to know the real answer. Looks like you have never had or used a SS.

And have no idea how much water it uses to empty a 10 gal or 50 gal black tank. Or how many gal/oz per minute the small nozzle puts out.

Maybe you can run a petition to have them outlawed to use in AZ if you feel that way about them. The OP was trying to help anyone buying one to check how it is put together before using. Your answer had nothing to do with that.

I'll add to the above that we are not wasting the water, we are just using it until it is reprocessed and returned to the enviroment.

I have been using the ss for nearly 14 yrs and have found that it works well.

The op makes a good point, when you get a new item it is always prudent to inspect it for defects or assembly errors.
