Good grief.
Isn't part of RV/Camping helping others when they have issues!!!
My family's poo, my slinky, my sanitation standards. Happy to sell a new or used one, but do not want it back. My stuff, my quirk.

I'm all for helping out my fellow RVers. I've fixed water pumps, loaned out cooking utensils, paper ware, spices, etc. changed tires, flagged traffic while loaning out my tools for roadside repairs, provided compressed air, etc. However, if you don't carry a spare slinky, I think you should have one, and I'm happy to provide.

It would depend on the situation. I would certainly feel a little "funny" about doing it, but in the right circumstance, then yes!

Sure why not, help out when you have the opportunity. Let's face it all crap is pretty much the same, barring infectious disease, just seems worse when it belongs to someone else. Its not like you are touching it.

We were at Silver Springs State Park and went to the dump station. There was a line of 4 of us waiting. Someone decided to share their stinky and had left it at the dump station with a concrete block holding it in the discharge. We all four used and I left it for the next guy.

We were once waiting at a multi-lane dump in Idaho (Forest Service), and a guy pulled up close to the inlet and just opened his black tank with no hose attached. What an absolute disaster! We would have gladly lent him ours (we were just finishing up). There was a host who came running over to deal with them, and we just finished packing up and left. It wasn’t a rental (no advertising), and I sure hoped it was just a brand new owner.

I've lent out my sewer hose extension, and would do it again. One of the best parts of RVing is to be able to help out folks in need. And sewer stuff is definitely a high-priority need.

Sewer hose (it) and clean in the same sentence. Good one.
