Question Shell Rotella T5 Semi Syn

In researching the Rotella products T5 semi synthetic meets all of the various Cummins, Mercedes, Volvo and CAT tests and exceeds some of the wear and contamination tests. I was curious if anyone is using the T5 10 - 30 product?

I posted this question in the Cummins forum and the Monaco forum only two responses. I am hoping for better luck here. I can't imagine that with the thousands of members at IRV2 many have not thought about using the T5 product.

Thanks for your response.

I use the T6 Rotella full syn 5W-40 in everything but my Daily Driver 06 Jeep.
I even use it in my 99 Jeep and riding lawnmower.
The Cummins in my Ford got a oil change when I got back from my vacation last Fall. After I get back from out west next month I will take a sample and send it off to see IF it needs changed. It will then have about 6K miles on it. I seriously doubt it will need changed.

Well motorcycles use it too . Had a Yamaha road star and ran the syn oil in it . Lowered temp and quieted the motor
Good oil .

Realizing that it won't extend the suggested oil change interval on my 3126 by one mile, and rarely/barely making that interval on an annual basis, I fail to see the advantage of running anything more expensive than the standard Rotella oil?

Not that I'm not a believer in synthetic Rotella. I run that in about everything else I own - including motorcycles, quads, etc.?
