I have and use a whole house regulator (watts) with a gauge for incoming campground pressure and another gauge for motorhome regulated pressure all in one foot long assy.
(brass has gotten Quite expensive) Should I chain/lock it to the camp ground water connection? Just to keep IT from walking away with some honest person? I guess it would depend on the campground too?

Wow, I dont really think anyone can answer that besides yourself. We all have our opinions, but that's all they are, opinions. Although I have never had a problem with anything walking away at a campsite, that is not to say that it couldnt happen. I guess bottom line would be to chain it, then you are "somewhat" safer. Obviously, if someone wants something and they have the time and opportunity, they can take it.
Is it possible to set the unit up inside one of the bays so where it isnt so obvious?
Good luck.

I installed my Watts regulator in the basement cabinet where my fresh water plumbing is. It was no problem, I believe most RVs could handle it. My water filter cannister is in there too. Out of sight, out of mind. E-mail me if you want pictures.
