Shower door gasket

We're trying to find a source to replace the vinyl weatherstrip material for the shower door of out 1999 Winnebago Chieftain. Our RV tech says he doesn't know of a distributor for the original slide in material. Anyone here know of one?

We could never find it for our shower in our previous 5th wheel. We just removed it and had no leakage issues.

Sadly we already have some leaking around the bottom of the door.

That looks like it would work but the negative reviews about it falling off without hope of repair is a concern.

I had a similar problem last summer in Washington and found a generic roll of replacement material at Ace Hardware. The material has two different sized beads at the top that slide into the door. If the smallest one does not work just cut it of and use the larger one. Cheap fix and it worked well.

I found mine at ACE hardware.

Others said they used ACE hardware and that is good to know.

Several years ago we found a company here that specializes in Shower Doors so we called them.

I went down there and they had several choices of those rubber slide in strips that they would cut to your desired length. I just took my old one with me and matched it up with what they had in stock.

My only regret is I should have had them cut off about 2" more on the bulk stock and I could have done the fine trim work after it was put in. I ended up a tad bit too short on the door.

I would believe they are somewhat generic in nature used on a lot of different doors.

I got my Winnebago replacement part directly from Lichtsinn.

Got my replacement for my Winnie at Home Depot. Different color but you only see it if you are lying on the floor.
