Shrink-wrap table cover

Has anyone replaced the shrink-wrap cover on a dinette table? Ours is only 4 years old, but it's starting to peel off from the bottom edge. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

What make, model of RV do you have? Never heard of a "shrink-wrap cover" on a table. If it's a plastic coating, I'm sure it could be replaced or repaired. A picture of the damage could help get more suggestions.

Maybe not "shrink-wrap," more like vacuum formed. It's a thin plastic coating on particle-board. Sort of like formica, but not exactly.

If you're handy or want to learn to be, a table top would make a good starter project. Use the measurements and hardware from the old table and make a new one. I've done dinette tables over the years in boats I've owned, decoupaged a chart of the Chesapeake Bay on one, made another out of mahogany planks biscuit-joined together.

As a teacher, I had to be handy or I couldn't play with boats or RVs!

There are films made for kitchen counters that you heat to shrink while applying. Don't know it those would work for you as I've never used them. Look on Amazon for counter top peel and stick. You might also consider some of the paints that are made to paint laminates.
