There is no global warming just like there is no recession now. Oh, wait, there is a recession.....

Single digits above zero today with light snow and wind here in Minnesota. One month of winter gone and five to go. The only thing that keeps me going is the IRV2 forum. THANK YOU IRV2.

It was low 30s today...it has been high teens and low 20s at night. If it is going to be this cold, it should be snowing.

It's cold here in central Va. Will only be 19 tonight and it snowed yesterday. Much to early for this. I guess global warming is the blame.

If you believe the Farmer's Almanac, this is exactly what was predicted for this year....colder and more precip than 'normal.' Here in VA we need the extra moisture, as is true in much of the Southeast. I hope we get enough snow and rain to fill up our lake.

Greetings from sunny and warm Arizona. I cannot imagine moving from this great area to TENNESSEE!! Of course, I was raised in Alabama and was sick of the humidity - in the summer AND winter. I could never make my mom understand what a dry heat and a dry cold were . . . and explain that a dry cold doesn't cut through you like a wet cold . . . and a dry heat doesn't make you suffocate and perspire like crazy!! I may be getting wrinkles in this dry climate but IT'S WORTH IT!!

Although we would rather be in the MH, the winter brings snowmobile weather . Although with a high of -26 celcius being called for 3 of the next 5 days I don't think I will do anything but hide in the corner. I would rather be in Florida for this week I think.

Talked to a trucker from Montreal the other night at a Flyng J. It was COLD and the humidity was high. He was walking around in a tee shirt. I commented that he was much tougher than me and he said this weather was like a heat wave, that it was below zero (-26 he said) there. I don't know if that is true or he was just trying to impress an ole boy from the South or what. That seemed mighty low for this time of the year.
Whatever the truth, he was walking around in temps in the upper 30's like it was spring.
