"Singing" window awning straps!
Just a tip for those that have window awnings that pull down and have a nylon strap that hook into a retainer on the side of the RV.
I'm sure you have been in brisk winds that caused the taunt nylon strap to vibrate at high frequency, creating a "singing" sound. I found a simple solution for that. Before you hook the strap into the retainer, put two full twists in it. Problem solved!

Yep. My boat bikini top used to do that and the twists take care of it.

My straps don't sing in the wind (or the rain) but that's a good tip. Thanks for posting it Joe.

Straps don't sing as much as the flap of the window Awning in higher winds. Suggestions?

That's an old truck driver trick when hauling a flatbed with a strapped load.

Maybe I was a truck driver in a previous life!

Great tip. I was getting tired of listening to them.

Good tip, but I've never found more than a 1/2 twist to be needed.
