Slide Adjustments

I have a large slide (2 bunks and the bedroom closet) on the curb side that doesn't appear to fully extend on one end. There is about a 1-1.5" interior gap (top, side & bottom) at the rear of the slide when in the extended position that isn't present at the front. It seals good in the retracted position.

I took it into my local RV shop (who has done good work in the past), but he tech said he couldn't adjust it without messing up the alignment at the front edge. Didn't sound right to me, but I'm still a relative novice at all this.

I'm not brave enough to attempt an adjustment on my own - so, is this a common issue I should just live with, or do I need to take it elsewhere to attempt a fix?

Take it else ware it can be adjusted. If not set up right you will get water and air leaks.
