Slide creep, windshield chips n covers, stay warm

Have slide creep out on National Tradewinds, dealer suggested placing adjustable bars inside against the wall and the slideout flange??? Did not like that idea, I know there is a brake on the motors just haven't gotten to then yet.

Easy peasy fix..... vice grips on the square rod that ties the two slide out gears together firmly placed against an immoveable object in the bays. They don't move now, just remember to remove :-)

windshield rock chips... not a repair but will stop it from becoming a crack, small piece of clear packing tape over the chip or a drop of 5 minute epoxy, make sure it's good n dry in the chip first.

Want a custom windshield cover? sign makers will do whatever you want on a mesh sign banner for around $140, stainless steel snap hardware and a trim job and you're in business.

Chilly in the rv even if you are south? Use packing bubble wrap (small bubbles) on glass windows, spray soapy water mix on glass, place bubble wrap on wet glass, it sticks till you're ready to remove, makes a big difference.
