Slide out....

My camper is 34Ft and my slide is 12FT. I have it parked at a campground for a year and I am living in it full time. Now the part that slides out is where the dinette is and the couch so it gets a lot of use. I am considering jacking the slide up so it doesn't start to sag or anything. Any tips advise etc? The camper is older (2004) which is the other reason to feel the need to make sure it stays working well. Thanks for any advise!

IF you can place the entire frame on a solid foundation (like concrete blocks), you can block or support the slide. The problem with trying to support a slide separately is if the front or rear jacks settle and the slide supports do not settle, you will lift the slide relative to the rest of the unit. This can cause structural problems and/or leaks.

Got it yes that is the plan to jack everything tires included so nothing is sitting on the ground!
