Not sure of what kind of damage you have to your cover, but I had a 3 and 1/2 inch 'L' rip that came with coach. I got some of that clear repair tape from Camping World and applied it to the slide cover(top and bottom). It's tenacious stuff and after almost a year of frequent use, it shows no signs of letting go. Good stuff...the folks at CW will know what you want when you ask for it. Bob

Thanks for the info I will look into the tape the wind ripped a 4 inch long tear and the hem came apart
