Slide out problems

Hello, we are in Elk Creek, Oklahoma, ready to get an early start and one of the slide outs won't retract. What do we do?

Yes, we are hooked up and also tried the generator.

Are you hooked up to power? Have you tried your Genset power?

Which slide out? Is it making any noise? Have you checked the fuse/slide controller? Is there anything underneath that would stop the slide travel? A little more information might help narrow a fix down.

Passenger side slide out. We parked last night and haven't moved so nothing could be in the way.

There should be a manual way to retract the slide. Call the tech line for your coach if instructions are not in the books that came with the coach

If a Lippert system there are decent videos on their website, and add'l videos on U-Tube. Also check the controllers, they are set up to blink an error code that may help, and there may be manual override instructions on the controller (and there are in the videos). We also found a loose wire on the back of the fuse block after one frustrating afternoon trying to retract ours...a minute with a wrench and success!
