A tornado warning was in the area a few nights ago and I decided to pull in the slides. Nope! Not going to happen. My big slide moved about 4 inches and the "rear actuator fault occured.

I said that forbidden word, "shux."

Hey! No problem, I have Good Sam Platinum, and ESP. (not mental mind you). I called GS road service and after a considerable amount of time they gave ma an appointment number for today. All the information was taken, and since it was a holiday weekend service was not available. GS called me back early this morning and set up a mobile repair visit. GS to the rescue - thanks.

The mobile RV repair was "Robert's Truck Repair," out of Stafford, VA. I'm located at Quantico, VA. I was slightly concerned with the name, but Robert showed up in a modified Freightliner and he had things to fix RV's. One hour later we had the slide in. Somehow it was jammed. I moved sites and extended the slide without incident. Now I'll just wait for that moment to bring it in and see what happens.

So if you are in the Triangle area and have a mechanical breakdown, either engine or MH part, give "Robert's Truck Repair" a jingle.

He did me good and fair.
