Slideout seal repair
For a while now we have had a problem with water leaking in around the bedroom slideout. One night recently we had a hard blowing rain and when we started to bed there were two soaking wet areas on the bed!
I found that the top seal was not down tight against the top of the slideout, and another seal further back had separated from the top of the slideout. I used a tube of silicone sealant to reseal the inside seal, but the main problem with the outside seal remained.
I decided that the best way to fix it was to attach another strip of rubber to the existing seal all the way across the top. After much searching, I found a rubber seal made for the bottom of garage rollup doors at Lowes. It was the perfect width to cover the existing seal and extend about an inch on the top of the slideout!
First I detached the slide topper from the side of the slide and laid it back on top of the MH. I cut the new seal long enough to extend out past each end of the slideout, allowing the water to drain off.
I used aluminum rivets to attach the new seal to the old one, putting them about 6" apart all the way across the top. I put washers on both sides so the rivets would work properly.
I was satisfied with the way it looked, but the real test would come with the next heavy rain. We didn't have long to wait! Last night it came a real gully-washer and is still raining heavily today.
Now the good news! We woke up this morning dry! I'm a happy camper again!

Could it be that your slide needs adjusting? Or maybe something is wearing on the slide track?  Good that you are dry now.

How does the "new" wiper fair when you retract the slide? I would be concerned that it "might" try to fold under when it hits the outer lip of the slide... or does it just slip over the edge giving you a better seal when the slide is retracted??
I replaced the wiper on our slide as it was totally kaputski, ours has a "slide in" channel so all I did was use a "whole lotta" Windex to lube the rubber seal then stretch and push the replacement one in.

When the slideout retracts the rubber seal folds under. That seal is not used when the slideout is retracted, only the seals around the outside lip.
